As is becoming tradition here at Sub:terranea, we like to close out our summer series at Wire with a rather large house booking. Last year Clive Henry made an appearance fresh from rocking it all summer at his legendary DC10 residency. This year we’re going one step further and uniting Clive with one of his natural music compatriots – Dogmatik label boss Alex Arnout, for a special back to back set.
Clive is one of the UK’s longest standing flag-wavers for underground house music having been an original member of the West London house mafia, one half of the genre-defining tech house outfit Peace Division and resident at one of the world’s most musically influential nightclubs – DC10. He has also been part of the Crosstown Rebels family and generally been delivering no-nonsense rocking club sets all over the globe for many years.
Alex has an exceptional ear for music and new talent, having signed up a young Maya Jane Coles for her first releases alongside other well respected artists like Tom Demac and Dyed Soundorom on Dogmatik Records. As a respected tastemaker he has found himself DJing at some of the finest clubs in the world including DC10, Watergate and Fabric.
Alex and Clive are regular sparring partners and have developed a unique tripped-out groove when DJing together that has to be experienced.
Get yourselves down to Wire for a special night with 2 musical legends.
Support this time comes from residents Rory Flynn and Alex Brown, no strangers to creating some epic dancefloor moments themselves..
